A FUN night was had by all who got their boogie on at Mickey's Disco last Saturday night.
Hosted by local group "Friends With Benefits", the event was a fundraiser for a new neonatal cot at Naracoorte Health Service and Make A Wish Foundation.
While numbers were down slightly this year, the 200-odd guests who packed out the Naracoorte Town Hall were a generous bunch and figures were about on par with 2012's "A Night on the Cooch".
Organiser Robyn Norman said the money raised was in the vicinity of $10,000.
"It was fabulous," she said. "Everyone had an absolute blast as usual.
"The guest DJs - Sardia "Scad" Kakoschke and Hollie Wearne from 5TCB - absolutely rocked the hall with their music selections.
"All in all it was a fantastic night and enjoyed by all."
A highlight was the auction which included items such as a lawnmower, Adelaide Crows and Port Power signed AFL guernseys and a mosaic ball handcrafted by Lucindale artist Karen Burow.
Auctioneers were local DJ Brett Rumball, who dressed up in a lime green morph suit leaving little to the imagination, and Mandy Barr.
Mrs Norman gave a special thank you to the volunteers who helped to make the evening a great success.
"Gary Jolly, Elita Fishlock, Nicola Bartosek and Sam Brooksby worked tirelessly all night.
"Without them it wouldn't be possible."
She also thanked the community for getting behind Mickey's Disco.
"We are a very lucky organisation at Friends With Benefits to have such a generous town that comes out and supports us every year.
"We thank you all very much for that. Without the continuous support we couldn't do this."
