A MAN has been clocked driving at 193km/h on Riddoch Hwy just north of Naracoorte.
The speeding driver will face court after being detected travelling at 193km/h in a 110km/h zone by a police speed camera unit operator at about 8.30am on Tuesday morning.
Limestone Coast Highway Patrol members stopped the vehicle and reported the driver, a 56-year-old Mount Gambier man, for driving at a speed dangerous to the public.
The driver will be summonsed to appear in the Mount Gambier Magistrates Court later. His vehicle will be impounded for 28 days.
Sergeant Rex Heins, officer in charge of Limestone Coast Highway Patrol, said: "Some drivers never get the message. Slow down!"
