A THRILLING 44-all draw between Maroon and the U18 Squad was the highlight of Monday night's men's basketball.
The match see-sawed a bit with both sides getting the upper hand at various stages but in the end the height and rebounding power of Maroon and the run and skill of the under 18 side cancelled each other out.
Jamie Bell top scored for Maroon with 11, with Mark Collins and Brad Lang contributing 10 apiece - Bell and Collins were named best.
For the under 18s Luke Black was best on court, scoring 22, backed up by Brayden Smith with 10. Adam Berry also played well.
White had a nine point victory over the U16 Squad 45-36.
Ben Nikkerud and Jarrod Sears were White's best, scoring 22 and 13 respectively.
For the young side it was Nic Lacey and Nick Songvilay the best, with eight points each.
In the later games Kyby Colts had a tough match but were eventually too strong for Black, final score: 56-43.
Bill Munn (25) and Bill Laurie (13) were among the points with Munn and Duncan Ogilvie the best for the Kyby boys.
Paul McRostie top scored for Black with 19 and Tom Hunter scored 12. Darren Smith and McRostie were the best players.
Red was far too good for Macca's Crew with a 51-20 whitewash. Clay Southern's 26 and Callum Mackinnon's 17 were their side's best efforts and enough to earn best player gongs.
For Macca's Crew Daysharn Whaanga (8) and Lachie Busiko (6) didn't let up, with Will Lobban also in the best.
