WHILE visitor numbers were down on last year's event, the fourth annual Pist'n'Broke Rally was an enjoyable weekend for those who did attend.
Organised by Naracoorte Historic Vehicle Club, the displays included vintage and veteran cars, working stationary engines and old tractors.
Secretary Daphne Burford said she wasn't entirely sure why the crowd was smaller than normal.
"Whether it was to do with the Mount Gambier Show being on or other things happening I'm not sure," she said.
"Maybe it was to do with the change of date - it's normally on the first weekend after Easter - and the weather wasn't too kind either.
"However, overall the committee were really pleased with the rally. We had a comment from one visitor who said he would always come to Naracoorte because it is a really good rally."
The feature for 2013 was "Anything International" which Mrs Burford said was quite popular.
There were 64 exhibitors, many with more than one site, coming mainly from SA and Victoria, although some travelled from as far away as Canberra and Geelong.
Cartright Pavilion housed 23 market stalls with everything from jewellery to tasty homemade goodies.
Mrs Burford said the raffle was very well received and thanked everyone for their support.
"The committee was absolutely blown away by the response from local business houses," she said.
