THE Christmas Toy Run takes off this Saturday and motorcyclists of all ages are encouraged to participate.
Riders can join in from Naracoorte, Penola or The Market Place in Mount Gambier and the final leg of the ride will be along commercial St down to the Valley Lake.
The aim is to help spread a bit of Christmas joy to needy families.
Toys and donation are welcome and distributed by St Vincent De Paul, who coordinate help with other similiar service providers.
This year the toy run is being coordinated by the Limestone Coast Ulysses Club but is open to all motorcycles.
Marshalls will be on-hand to ensure that every rider is catered for, no matter what confidence level, and every rider is encouraged to travel at their own pace.
This is not a race, but rather a leisurely ride to be shared in the Christmas spirit.
Riders are asked to assemble at the Shell Service Station in Naracoorte for departure at 9am on Saturday, the Penola Shell for 10am or the Market Place for 11am.
