THE Australia Day ceremony in Naracoorte kicks off from 7am this Sunday.
Everyone is invited to enjoy a community breakfast in the town squares.
Catered by the local service clubs, there will be plenty of choices at a small cost of $5 per person.
The money raised will then be donated to a local charity.
Entertainment will start at 7.30am with Don Wishart playing some Australian music followed by "the pipers" Ed Coventry and Don Patterson
At 8am the flag will be raised and the national anthem sung before the guest speaker is introduced.
This year it is Australian ambassador John Shepherd who is the executive director of Operation Flinders - a world leading wilderness adventure program for young offenders and youth at risk.
Before taking this role he spent 25 years within major branches of the SA Police Department and has been a board member in numerous Australian and SA educational, emergency service and social inclusion organisations.
The morning will conclude with the Australia Day awards and the citizenship ceremony.
In Lucindale the official proceedings will start at 11am at the rotunda.
Australia Day awards will be announced and guest speaker Mr Shepherd will address the crowd.
Following the formalities a barbecue lunch will be put on by LINC - Lucindale's community group.
