SUPPORT the Naracoorte Red Cross branch by registering a team in its annual bowls day.
Held on March 23, the event will kick off with a barbecue lunch at noon before the fun and games begin.
Teams of four are encouraged to enter at a cost of $40, or $10 per player.
Local couple Mel and Shannon Pretlove started organising the event five years ago when their son George was Red Cross baby.
"In previous years we have had about 28 teams of four," Mrs Pretlove said.
"If we can get around 30 teams that would be great. It is a good fun social day for the whole family. Kids are welcome.
"Pretty much all the sponsors have been there since day dot so it has been easy to continue. We've had great support."
There will be door prizes, a raffle and prizes for the winning teams.
This year's Red Cross baby is Nick and Nicki Wight's son Digby.
Other fundraising efforts which have already taken place have included a Melbourne Cup luncheon at the Naracoorte racecourse and a stall at Taste the Limestone Coast Festival.
Last year's bowls day made more than $2000 for Red Cross.
