BLACK and the Under 18 Squad will face off in the Naracoorte men's basketball division one grand final.
In a tense DIVISION ONE encounter Black edged out Navy 55-33.
Paul McRostie was again influential with 26 points for Black, backed up by veteran guard Darren Smith with 16.
Young pair Will Russell and Ethan Bates were named best.
For Navy Matt Mills (10) and Ash Owen (6) top scored, supported by Josh Koennecke and Nathan Standley.
They will face the Under 18 Squad in the decider after the 18s knocked Kyby out 47-41.
Luke Black (19) and Sam Crook (13) did the bulk of the scoring for the Under 18s - both being named best players.
For Kyby, who dropped back to the pack in the back half of the year minus star Bills (Munn and Laurie), Matt Stilsby scored 13 and Jamie Bittner 10.
Alex Vigar and Duncan Ogilvie were Kyby's best.
In DIVISION TWO White narrowly edged out the Under 16s by a point to secure a grand final berth against Red.
The final score was 44-43 with White just holding on.
Ben Nikkerud was the standout, scoring 22 points for White backed up by Tony Olsen (10) - the pair were named best.
It was so near yet so far for the Under 16s, who had good scoring output from the tricky Nic Songvilay and emerging tall Harry Attwood - 12 points each.
Jake Mailley joined "Song" in the best.
The other match was not nearly competitive as Red dominated a tired Maroon outfit 49-22.
Callum Mackinnon scored 20 for Red, Andrew Leech chipped in with 15 and Mackinnon was named best along with Jamie MacDonald.
For Maroon, Jamie Bell and Michael Brighton scored eight apiece and were their side's best players.
