LOCAL Year 12 students had a chance to let their hair down before starting to concentrate on their final year of high school last Friday.
A formal was organised by the Youth Advisory Committee and held at the Naracoorte Town Hall.
There were 142 students who suited up and donned their fanciest dresses for the event as well as about 10 teachers.
Everyone arrived between 6pm and 6.30pm before mingling and getting snapped with friends in the photo booth. They then enjoyed a meal and a series of awards were handed out.
King and Queen went to Josh Shepherd and Lauren Irvine, while Prince and Princess was presented to Nathan Bird and Amelia Nolan.
The teachers chose the "Best Dressed" winners as Mike Schmidt and Natasha McHugh.
Overall the evening ran smoothly and the committee thanked Nigel Nisbett at the town hall and Naracoorte Lucindale Council mayor Erika Vickery for their support.
