WITH vintage in full swing and everyone's favourite events on offer again this year, Coonawarra After Dark is shaping up as one of the true classics on April 11 and 12.
Vintage 2014 is showing some promising signs, so there will be plenty to celebrate.
Friday's classic hit list includes DiGiorgio Family Wines' famous vintage stomp, now in its 11th year, and Mrs Zema's legendary pizzas, as well as live music at Zema Estate, then Wined It Up with Rys Crimmin at Brand's Laira Coonawarra for some reggae and foot-stomping blues.
The festivities continue on Saturday when Koonara Wines pair up with Coonawarra Station for the inaugural Harvest Lunch.
Then on Saturday night, Chris Raidis comes out of cooking retirement for one night only to cook his famous Coonawarra Charcoal Grill at Raidis Estate.
Zema Estate managing director Nick Zema said: "Vintage is such an exciting time of the year to visit Coonawarra and to see what goes on behind the scenes.
"This event is an opportunity for grape growers, winemakers and visitors alike to celebrate all the work that goes into making fantastic Coonawarra wine."
