NARACOORTE Lions Club's fundraising house failed to attract any bids when it went to auction on Saturday morning.
After five open days and lots of interest shown, the Cedar Ave property went under the hammer in front of a crowd of about 50 people.
SAL manager Denis Overall welcomed everyone and complimented those involved on building the house as a fundraiser.
"It was a fantastic project to be a part of," he said. "Nobody can fault what's here."
He then handed over to auctioneer Laryn Gogel who attempted to get the ball rolling.
A vendor bid of $350,000, on behalf of Naracoorte Lions Club, started things off but unfortunately there were no more bidders.
The property will now be held over while SAL undergoes discussions with the Lions club to work out a realistic asking price.
Work started on the property about three years ago with the whole community banding together to donate their time and skills to make it happen.
Funds raised from the sale will go towards the installation of a CT scan at Naracoorte Hospital.
