NARACOORTE United Soccer Club's senior sides both went down at home to Inter on the weekend.
The lowlight was the A grade game being abandoned with 20 minutes remaining when a Naracoorte defender was tackled strongly and it was deemed unsafe for play to continue.
There had already been a number of cards issued to players, including two reds to Naracoorte team members.
An investigation has been launched into the incident, which reportedly led to some spectators invading the pitch. League officials have been meeting this week to decide a course of action.
A grade - Naracoorte 0, Inter 5.
Naracoorte played a very defensive first half against the league leaders.
The first goal conceded was an unlucky deflection off a defender.
Inter upped the tempo after this and scored two quick goals before Naracoorte regrouped to go to half time 3-0.
The second half started very defensively with Inter on the attack with another goal off a deflection.
Their final goal come from good attacking build-up from Inter and a good shot.
The game was then abandoned with 20 minutes to play after a very harsh tackle on a Naracoorte defender, who was lucky to escape without serious injury.
The match was abandoned as it was deemed unsafe for players after this incident.
Kincraig Hotel best on ground was Dylan Blanck for his hard work in the goals.
Other best players were K. Marshall, S. Hannan and JK.
B grade - Naracoorte 0, Inter 4.
Inter played attacking soccer, scoring three goals in the first half.
Good defending and goalkeeping kept it from being more. Naracoorte had a few scoring opportunities but sprayed the ball wide.
The second half was much closer with only one goal conceded from a soft penalty.
Naracoorte passed the ball around and made some good attacking plays too.
