MITCHELL Clark's pro boxing career is off to a great start after a technical knockout victory over Marlon Toby last Friday in Melbourne.
The 19-year-old former Lucindale man was too quick for his 38-year-old super middleweight opponent, who was fighting for the 34th time in his career, stopping him in the second round during their bout at the Shoppingtown Hotel.
Clark was originally going to fight Bentley Shefford but the latter had to withdraw after being knocked out in the week leading up to the fight.
Clark is now taking a week off training for a holiday before resuming training.
He was unsure of when his next fight would be but estimated it would happen within the next 10 weeks.
