SE Senior Tennis gets first female president

FOR the first time since its formation in 1990, SE Seniors Tennis has elected a female president.

Trish Douglas was elected at the recent annual meeting. Before that the presidents had been Robin Ey, Bruce White and Tut Agnew.

The new committee is: president Trish Douglas, vice-president Wendy McDonald, secretary Marg Jude, assistant secretary Bronwyn Neil, publicity officer Helen Rathjen.

General committee: Tut Agnew, Christine Cram and Bob Brown.

Trish's first duties as president were at the July event when the seniors hosted players from Riverland and Murray Bridge.

Winners at that event were Marlene Bull and Allan Rex.

Murray Bridge winner: Lorraine Vickers. Riverland winner: Kay Tanner.

The next event will be held at the Active8 centre on August 17 with an 11am start.
