LONG-time local Tim Rowe has been awarded an SA Heritage Heroes 2012 certificate of individual recognition.
Mayor Erika Vickery presented the award before Naracoorte Lucindale Council's June 26 meeting and spoke about his extensive role in the community's history.
The Naracoorte photographer owned Rowe's Cameras from 1955 to the early 2000s.

He specialised in black and white photos initially and restored local people's cherished old photos too.
After a need to expand the business in the 1970s, he opened a framing service in the old district council office on Ormerod St, where he still works.
