Under 16 cricket revival

UNDER 16 cricket will take another step towards revival with a meeting to form a junior committee on Monday night.

The meeting will be at the Naracoorte cricket clubrooms at Wortley Oval at 6.30pm Monday and is open to anyone interested in supporting junior cricket.

The traditional under 16 or "colts" competition folded a couple of years ago, breaking the link between school cricket and senior competition.

Organisers are hoping to revive the grade and are looking for expressions of interest from prospective players from Naracoorte and surrounding districts.

Players should be aged between 13 and 16 at September 1. Talented players younger than that may also be considered depending on player interest.

For more information or apologies for the meeting, phone Cam Watson 0408 467 099.
