IT'S on again! The Naracoorte P and A Society 149th annual show is set to excite this Saturday.
The Naracoorte Show committee has been working tirelessly throughout the year to ensure that this community event will offer something for everyone and is delighted with the huge range of entertainment on offer.
Show secretary Amanda Lock has led the small group of volunteer committee members in many hours of dedicated work to make the event a success.
Headline entertainment for 2012 includes the racing and diving pigs, which are sure to draw a huge crowd.
Popular at events around the country, including royal shows (where there is standing room only!), these extremely cute racers will put on several performances to bring a smile to everyone's face.
Tony Golder and his horse, Regal, will entertain the crowds with their amazing tricks.
Lee Brocky and his band Outback Overdrive will provide a great country atmosphere for patrons while local trio Tenor's Elbow will bring their own brand of music and performance to the stage.
Locals are encouraged to come along and enter the pet show, and the entertaining dog high jump, both taking place on the main arena from 10.30am.
Entry into these great classes is free and an easy and fun way to take part in the show - and have a chance of winning some great prizes.
Entries will also be accepted for the Limestone Coast Ute Muster up until 11am on show day, with classes for all makes and models. Details can be found in the show schedule.
As always, patrons can expect a fabulous array of arts, crafts, cooking, photography, produce, sheep, cattle and the other regular attractions of the show including trade sites, show rides and local school and club displays.

Gates open to the Naracoorte P and A Society 149th annual show from 9am on Saturday. Admission prices are $5 for children under 15 years, $10 for those over 15 years.
