NARACOORTE personality Dave Thomas has bid farewell to friends and colleagues after retiring from his role as Senior Sergeant of Naracoorte police.
He has lived in Naracoorte for over a decade and now he and wife Margie will be moving to Robe to enjoy their retirement years.
More than 50 people attended a farewell in the Naracoorte South Primary School hall on October 7, recognising the many contributions the couple had made to the local community.
