There is no doctor available to staff the medical clinic at Padthaway.
The Padthaway Medical Centre has not been operating for three weeks, and is currently not staffed with Keith District Hospital having a GP on leave, with no other replacement secured.
The Tatiara District Council-owned centre reopened in January 2015, and the clinic was serviced by a doctor from Keith, who was consulting every week.
This allowed Padthaway residents to have access to medical services in their own town.
The residents sought more opening hours in July 2015, petitioning the Tatiara council for the clinic to be open more than once a week.
The centre was originally built in 2010 but had been closed because of problems securing a doctor, before reopening again in 2015.
