South East man on child sex charges

A 40-year-old man from the South East has been arrested for child sex offences.

Detectives from the Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team (a partnership between SAPOL's Special Crimes Investigation Branch and the Australian Federal Police) yesterday arrested a 40-year-old man in the South East and charged him with four counts of aggravated indecent assault, four counts of unlawful sexual intercourse and four counts of breaching his obligations.

The man was refused bail and will appear in the Mount Gambier Magistrates Court today, Wednesday.
