Naracoorte Senior Citizens held their annual general meeting on September 29.
Twenty-nine people attended the meeting where the president Denise Neeson and treasurer David Law read their reports before all positions were declared vacant.
David McRostie took the chair while the elections took place. The following people were successful.
Dianne Arnold was elected president, Judith Bothe – vice-president, Jean Billing – secretary, David Law treasurer and David McRostie – public officer.
The committee consists of Laurie Munn, Denise Neeson, Pat Carrick, Val Hatchard and Ivy Brown.
Dianne is looking forward to her time as president and is hoping that we can have more outings and use our facilities more.
“We are very lucky to have such great facilities,” Dianne said. “These facilities are available for hire and would suit many occasions including meetings, get together’s, card meetings etc.”
“We also have wheelchair access and disabled toilet so no one feels left out.”

If you’re lloking to play a game of cards, indoor bowls or some easy move exercises then join the senior citizens.
Exercise classes are held Tuesday’s between 11am-12pm. Cards and indoor bowls are also being held on Wednesday’s at 1pm. There is also a pool table that can be used.
The next meeting will be held on November 24 at 10.30 in the clubrooms.
