Naracoorte Remembrance Day 2017  | PHOTOS

The Remembrance Day service in the Naracoorte Town Square was solemn and respectful as many community groups, schools, religious services, and local officials laid wreaths at the base of the War Memorial.

A minute of silence was observed, and those who could stood for the National Anthem.

The Combined Choir of Naracoorte Primary and Naracoorte South Primary sang the anthem, complete with Auslan sign language.

The Last Post was played, and there was also The Ode, the fourth stanza of the poem For the Fallen by Laurence Binyon (1869–1943).

Lest we forget.
