Naracoorte woman loses licence for 0.220 reading

A Naracoorte woman has been reported for drink driving following a crash last month.

Just before 9.30pm on Tuesday 4 April, Naracoorte police attended a crash, after a car left MacDonald Road at Naracoorte and collided with a fence.

The driver of the car, a 56-year-old woman, was taken to the local hospital with minor injuries and where a blood sample was taken to be analysed.

The result of the blood test revealed the woman allegedly had an alcohol reading of 0.220, or more the four times over the legal limit of 0.05.

On Wednesday, the woman was reported for drink driving and issued an instant 12 month loss of licence.

She will also be summonsed to appear in the Naracoorte Magistrates Court on a date to be fixed.
