The heart of Naracoorte was a flurry of activity on Friday as school students from all over the SE flocked to town for the 2017 Mental Health Festival expo hosted by the Naracoorte Independent Learning Centre (ILC).
In total, around 30 mental health services such as StandBy Response, Brain Gym, Ignition Youth and Smiles All Round were present at the expo to speak to anyone interested in finding out more information.
High school motivational speaker and youth coach Nathan Hulls conducted numerous workshops in the town hall during the day focusing on how to overcome adversity, follow your dreams and achieve success.
The Mental Health Festival will finish with a community family fun day on Saturday from 10am until 3pm on Saturday at the Naracoorte High School.
Stay tuned for more photos from the third day of the 2017 Mental Health Festival and make sure you pick up a copy of next week’s Naracoorte Herald for the full story.
