A fundraising day for RFDS fit for royalty!

The school captains at the Naracoorte Primary School – Prue Davies, Lachlan Edwards, Alexander Waters, and Emily Foster – proved that they were clever as well as creative as they raised money for charity.

The students organised ‘Royal Day’ on Tuesday April 10, with students getting the chance to dress up for a good cause.

Every gold coin donation on the day went towards the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

“We had a very good turnout, and we would like to thank everyone who donated,” Alex said.

“We were happy with the amount we raised,” Emily said.

“You had the choice of being something related to a royal, or a doctor, or a pilot,” Prue said.

The students voted best-dressed by their peers had their photos taken, but it would have been hard to choose, as so many students did such a fantastic job with dressing up!

Well done Naracoorte Primary, and especially the captains, for such a fantastic fundraiser!
