WINNER WINNER BARBECUE DINNER: Talent has no limit at the Naracoorte and Districts Little Athletics Club!

Naracoorte and Districts Little Athletics club held their presentation day and annual general meeting on Friday April 6.

The athletes all enjoyed an Easter Amazing Race game while the committee and parents attended to the annual general meeting. President Tony Bedworth read his report and reflected on a successful 2017/18 season, and thanked the committee and all those that had volunteered during the season.

The club welcomed some new committee members and thanked some departing long term members. Most of the executive positions on the committee were filled quickly, with Tony once again taking up the President’s position.

On completion of the annual general meeting, the athletes were presented with their personal best certificates, and the trophy winners were announced.

The most improved trophy is awarded to the athlete that has accrued the most points in each age group. Points are earned by the athlete for attendance, participating in every event, equalling personal best and bettering personal best.

The regular season may be over but the fun continues with some Cross Country events on Sunday April 29 and May 6 at the Naracoorte Nature Park. These events will be excellent practice for those students that intend on competing in the Primary Schools SE Cross Country competition in May.
