Kyby girls head to State Women’s Country Championship

The team representing the South East at the State Women’s Country Championships on July 7-8 in Renmark has been announced, with several Kyby Tigers making the cut.

Each zone competing in the Championships nominated a playing squad of 24  players. All 24 players are eligible to compete in all scheduled matches.

The Kybybolite players are Chelsea Dahlenburg, Casey McElroy, Dellie Brown, Susie Maber, Hayley Smart, and Georgia Irvine.

The coach of the team is Reece Duncan (Millicent), with assistant coaches Luke Crossling (Kybybolite) and Nicole Orr (South Gambier).

The last two trainings will be this coming Sunday, followed by a last training on Wednesday night (July 4) in Penola.

Millicent: Madi Thwaites, Madi Turner, Kelsie Wilkinson, Kristie Rowe, Olivia Fuller, Kimmi Varcoe.

Kalangadoo: Paris Ackland, Chloe Pratt, Bianca Thorn.

South Gambier: Kaylene Nuske, Jasmine White; Kendall Saffin; Tess Andrews.

East Gambier: Bo Creek, Tulle Perryman, Tyne Bosco.

North Gambier: Ella Firth.

Glencoe: Claire Nolte.
