The Naracoorte Herald is beginning a new feature, Educator of the Month, which recognises the fantastic work of educational staff in our schools. And our first Educator of the Month is Ange Donnelly!

Ange is an inspirational year 6 teacher at Naracoorte Primary. She is a quiet achiever who leads many initiatives both within the school and across the partnership.

Ange has both guided and inspired the STEM student ambassadors from Naracoorte and Naracoorte South Primary to survey, build and present 3D models of what children would like to see in the new Naracoorte Caves Playground.

Ange is involved with both primary and the pre school sites in this venture.

Through her high quality teaching approaches, Ange encourages children to become self-managers and risk takers, empowering them to become creative and innovative thinkers, always willing to undertake a learning challenge.

Ange is a leader in the development of our new STEM building including the development of LEGO robotics in the school.

Ange supports students throughout Naracoorte in a plethora of ways, including assisting our Young Environmental Leaders, and also being heavily involved in coaching and promoting children in local sporting teams.
