Local devotees of caravanning and motorhome travel will see some familiar images when they open this month’s edition of the industry’s number one magazine.
The Caravan and Motorhome on Tour magazine features a large spread on the attractions of Naracoorte under the enticing banner of “Prehistoric Wonderland”.
The article was contributed by Lucindale local Tara Rose, who has been a regular reader of the magazine for nearly 10 years.
A keen traveller herself with her partner and five children, Tara actually credits the magazine with her decision eight years ago to move to the area to live.
She read an article featuring Naracoorte, came for a visit and saw all the attractions listed in the article, and loved the area so much she never left.
Now, she hopes that contributing the article for the latest magazine will allow more people from all over Australia the chance to find out just what a great place Naracoorte is to visit and live.
The article outlines some of the district’s many popular drawcards, including the world heritage-listed Naracoorte Caves National Park, surrounding wine regions, Naracoorte Art Gallery, Sheep’s Back Museum and iconic business MiniJumbuk.
Tara said after being a devoted reader of the magazine for so long, it was exciting for her to have her first contribution featured. A keen hobby writer, Tara is also currently writing a young adult fiction book.
The Caravan and Motorhome on Tour magazine is available at most newsagents including Naracoorte Newsagency.
