In the wake of the Mount Gambier Target closure, and an estimated 20% of all stores to shut in the next five years, Target Australia have confirmed that there are no immediate plans to close Naracoorte's Target. A media spokesperson stated: "It is business as usual for Target Australia, and all stakeholders will be communicated with well in advance of any planned change to Target’s store network. "We look forward to continuing our relationship with the communities where we operate and remain committed to providing our customers quality fashion and basics at low prices. "As always, and with great respect, our team members will be communicated with first if there are any planned changes to our stores."
