The Naracoorte South Primary School have had lots of Easter fun at the end of last week.
On Thursday April 11 the Reception to Year Two classes participated in an Easter Egg Hunt, where they followed clues around the school to different Easter activities, made an Easter hat, and of course, found some chocolate eggs. Student leaders helped out at the different stations, and the hunt was a put on by our fabulous fundraising committee.
Then it was time to draw the winners for the school's famous Easter Egg raffle. Special guest Easter Bunny was there to draw the winning tickets - there were 15 fabulous prizes donated by students' families. All money raised will go toward new maths resources for the school.
And on Friday, there was the first Easter Bonnet Parade held after many years at NSPS. Children created their own hats and bonnets and showed them off to their school mates. The winning entries received a certificate and a photo with the one and only Easter Bunny, who made another surprise visit to the school!
