It was a wild and windy Thursday night in the South East.
There are reports of significant property damage, heavy rainfall totals and loss of power throughout the region.
Winds of more than 100km/h were recorded at Cape Jaffa and other coastal sites, while virtually all of the South East received at least 10mm of rain in the 24 hours from 9am Thursday, with some totals much more than that.
While the actual temperature in Naracoorte hovered at between 4-8, the "feels like" temperature dipped below zero at 6.30pm Thursday and remained below zero right through to Friday morning.
Meanwhile, more than 3000 properties in the South East were without power, with SA Power Networks staff working to restore the situation on Friday morning.
More than 5500 homes and businesses were without power across the state.
