The Naracoorte Singers are looking forward to presenting "A Sunday afternoon of beautiful music" on Sunday September 15.
The 2pm performance in the Naracoorte Town Hall will consist of 18 songs by the choir, selected by their conductor Erika Vickery and accompanist Marion Orton.
They will feature "songs of hope", "negro spirituals" and lots of other well-known and popular choices including I Have a Dream, Amazing Grace, You'll Never Walk Alone, Down by the Riverside and A Clare Benediction.
The ladies will sing the lovely Only Time, recorded by Enya, and Feelin' Groovy, while the men in the group will perform The Drinking Song and With a little bit of luck.
The concert will also feature two talented guest artists, with pianist and singer Alice Fang and Tamara Joukoff on cello.
A small donation for charity would be appreciated. The singers would like everyone to join them after the performance for afternoon tea and a chat.
The following Monday evening, the choir will repeat some of the performance at Longridge Aged Care at 6.30pm, with family members of residents welcome to go along as well.
