Two Naracoorte men have lost their licences, after both were caught driving with more than double the legal alcohol limit on Saturday.
Just after midnight on Saturday, a Ford Falcon sedan was stopped on Smith Street and the driver submitted to a breath test.
A 25 year old man from Naracoorte, returned a positive result of 0.127. He was issued a six month instant loss of licence notice and reported for drink driving.
The driver will be summoned to appear in the Naracoorte Magistrates Court at a later date.
Shortly afterwards, just before 2am on Sunday, police stopped a Ford sedan travelling on Rolland Street at Naracoorte for a mobile driver test.
The driver, a 23-year-old man from Naracoorte, returned a positive breath analysis result of 0.111. He was issued a six month instant loss of licence notice.
Checks revealed the driver had never held a licence and the vehicle was unregistered and uninsured. The man was reported for drink driving, driving unlicensed, and driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.
He will be summoned to appear in the Naracoorte Magistrates Court at a later date. The vehicle was impounded for 28 days.
