With the school holidays starting this week, see our list of Naracoorte attractions to entertain the whole family these school holidays.

ARTS AND CRAFTS- Naracoorte Library is offering School Holiday activity sessions with a Halloween theme at 10am on Wednesday 30th September and 10am on Wednesday 7th October. The sessions will be held at the Library and will be suitable for ages 4 and older. Bookings are essential as numbers will be limited. EAT AND DRINK: The Coonawarra Cabernet Celebrations kick off October 1, and there is plenty of family-friendly events on. To see the list of events, visit www.coonawarra.org.

THRILLS: Coonawarra Bush Holiday Park will be hosting Spring Wargames on September 26 and 27. Experience the unique thrill of firing gel blasters at your family and friends in a totally safe environment on a 200 acre bush park. Live band Stitches will be performing on Saturday night and there will be a free BBQ Saturday and Sunday. Tickets from $19 per session, six sessions available. There are four police and council approved skirmish fields including the Sand mine, Dead man's Crawl, the Tree Farm and the Long March. MOVIE NIGHT: Landmark Pictures Naracoorte are back just in time for the school holidays. Movies this week are Tenet, screening at 7pm Saturday, September 26. Family film Cats and Dogs 3: Paws Unite will be screening on Monday September 28 at 12.45am and Tuesday September 29 at 10am. COVID-19 restrictions apply. ALL ABOARD: Tiny Train Park will be open all school holidays at the Naracoorte Holiday Park. Looping around the man made lake and over the bridge, kids get a fun time riding the train and looking at all the animal statues hidden around. The Tiny Train is open every weekend and on public holidays and every day during school holidays.

STICK SKILLS: Hockey players are invited to take part in a Hockey Skills Clinic, run by Hockey-101. Participants will learn about effective ball carry, drags and jinx, tackling and intercepting and passing and receiving. To register, visit https://hockey-101.com/naracoorte-clinic-booking-form.

EXPLORE: The Naracoorte Caves will be open all school holidays so it's the perfect time to explore. Naracoorte Caves National Park is open from 9am - 5pm every day and entry to the national park and car parking is free. Tour fees apply. Find out more at https://www.naracoortecaves.sa.gov.au

HISTORY: Pay a visit to the Sheep's Back Museum and learn about the history of Naracoorte and the wool industry. The museum is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5.00pm and weekends 10am to 4pm.
