Harmony Day

Harmony Day will be celebrated in Naracoorte with an annual Children's Festival in the Naracoorte Town Square at 10am and a Wish Festival at the Naracoorte Swimming Lake at 6pm. More details to follow.

427 Army Cadet Unit open day

Open for anyone interested in having a look at what the Cadets have been doing, and you will have the opportunity to talk to cadets and staff about what Army Cadets is all about. There will be displays on offer and a gold coin donation BBQ and drinks, to help to raise funds for the unit. The event will be open to the public from 12pm - 2pm. They will parade from Naracoorte High school, please enter the front gate and follow the signs posted.

Carpe Diem

Carpe Diem will be at the Naracoorte Town Hall on Wednesday 31 March. Written by Arts and Health production company Centre Stage Scripts, "Carpe Diem" is a live theatre performance that addresses mental health care in rural communities. Starring acclaimed actors John Voce and Grant Piro, Carpe Diem is a contemporary portrayal of everyday Australian males dealing with issues of health, grief, loss and depression. There will be a BBQ starting at 6.30pm and the show begins at 7pm. Numbers are limited so bookings are essential. Phone the Naracoorte Visitor Information Centre on 8762 1399.

Task Force 72's National Annual regatta

Naracoorte Swimming Lake will host Task Force 72's 25th anniversary National Annual Regatta on April 10-11. Task Force 72 is a group of scale model ship enthusiasts who specialise in building military and non-military model ships to a uniform scale of 1:72. Activities over the regatta weekend will include model displays and a sunset sail. More information is available at www.taskforce72.org

Historic Vehicle Club Markets

Held on the 2nd Saturday of every month, you can find local produce, homemade goods, arts and crafts, bric-a-brac and more. There will be a sausage sizzle available and the historic vehicle display will be open. Open from 8 to 11.30am at the Sheep's Back Museum Complex. New stallholders welcome.
