In a turn up from the usual it was the local sides who dominated the Naracoorte Bowling Clubs Easter Tournament, with visitors from Mount Gambier, Mount Gambier RSL, Penola, Millicent, Kingston, Lucindale, Eudunda, Angaston, Blackwood, Victor Harbor, Langhorne Creek, Mundulla, Bordertown, Serviceton, Kaniva, Nhill, Webbcona, Dunkeld, Edenhope and Naracoorte RSL.
The Good Friday Singles sponsored by the Mullinger Park and the East Family was won by all Naracoorte players in David O`Shaughnessy from Ian Williams and Rick Pitt all three winning 4 games whilst Jeff East won 3 and came fourth.
Saturdays Pairs sponsored by Tasco Petroleum and O`Sullivan`s Transport went to the other end of the town with Naracoorte RSL`s Joe McGrath and Eudunda/Naracoorte RSL`s Greg Prior winning from Geoff Hurn and his son in law from Angaston Jamie Cameron, Naracoorte RSL players rounded out the podium with Greg Mark and Brett Hill whilst Ryan O`Shaughnessy skippered his way to fourth with the old man David leading.
Monday`s fours sponsored by Southern Australian Livestock, Munro and Grigg and Naracoorte Refrigeration reverted back to a Naracoorte side taking the chocolates with Doc Johnson, Dean Williams, Rob Selig and Chris Johnson getting up on a count back from the combination side of David O`Shaughnessy, Brett Hill, Arthur Eyles and Ryan O`Shaughnessy.
Third place went to regular visitors from Kaniva in Jeffery Meyer, Adrian Coad, Col Maddern and Mal Coutts fourth place was a Kingston, Lucindale combination in Jack Vawser, Rob Willmott, Legs McCallum and Bill Armfield.
