The Naracoorte and Lucindale community is invited to pay their respects to fallen firefighters at a memorial service this weekend.

The South Australian Volunteer Firefighters Inc will be holding their annual SA Fire Fighters Memorial Service and wreath laying this Saturday from 11am.

SA Volunteer Fire Fighters Museum committee chairman Rex Hall said the service would commemorate those in the CFS and in forestries that have lost their lives fighting fires.

"There are 15 people that have lost their lives fire-fighting for the CFS and eight for forestries," he said.

Everyone is encouraged to come along to the service, which will be held at 11am at the South Australian Volunteer Firefighters Museum on Kingston Avenue, Naracoorte.

It will be followed by a lunch at the Naracoorte Hotel at the attendees cost.

The group will also hold it's AGM on Saturday at 3.30pm at the Museum, followed by a light meal and networking opportunity.

RSVP to Rex Hall on gadang38@tpg.com.au or on 0417 081 560.
