The trophy for the Coonawarra Vignerons Cup was unveiled in an exciting launch event held last week, which also celebrated the exclusive Cup Marquee.
The 36o South Coonawarra Vignerons Cup Marquee will return to Penola Racecourse on January 13, 2022.
During the lunch event, held November 25 at DiGiorgio Family Wines, invited guests toasted the return of the Marquee and its sponsors.
They also celebrated the perfect pairing of 36o South beef and local Coonawarra wines.
The unveiling of the Cup trophy was presented by Sage Murray, General Manager Operations for Teys Australia Naracoorte; Pete Balnaves, president of Coonawarra Grape and Wine Incorporated and the chairman of the Coonawarra Cup Committee, Luke Trotter.
on the evening Chair of the Vignerons Cup Committee, Luke Trotter shared his excitement for the upcoming event.
"It feels like its been a long time coming and there's been a lot of work put into getting it to where we're at," he said.
"It's going to be a little different, but it'll still have that same feel about it."
The Marquee cocktail event will offer guests an exclusive trackside package, they will enjoy a smorgasbord of Coonawarra wines, lunch and afternoon tea and will have access to betting facilities and an imperial wine auction.
A limited number of public tickets are available now for the marquee precinct and can be purchased through the Coonawarra Vignerons website.
